Fourways Rotary already has 12 members

FOURWAYS – The Johannesburg Main Reef Rotary Club was recently joined by three experienced members from the Randburg Rotary Club, increasing its membership.

“Rotary is a non-political, non-religious, non-racial organisation open to men and women over the age of 18 who have specific skills and who are prepared to donate some of their time to assist those less fortunate,” explained Stephen Margo, one of the founders of Main Reef Rotary Club.

It was then decided to apply for a name change to ‘Fourways Main Reef Rotary Club’ and since Fourways hasn’t had a Rotary Club before, they had to find a home for their new rotary club.

Weekly meetings are now being held at Norscot Manor’s national heritage venue in Penguin Drive. “In the very short space of time the club has been in operation, five new members have been accepted and have joined the club bringing membership up to a total of 12,” said Margo.
