Support Sandton’s Mrs SA semi-finalist

SANDTON – Do you know your Mrs SA finalist? If not, read to find out more about Portia Radebe.

Sandton resident, mother and wife, Portia Radebe, has been announced as one of the Mrs South Africa top 100 semi-finalists and she needs your support in her journey to the crown.

Mrs South Africa is not a typical beauty pageant but offers married South African women who have careers, families, and hobbies the chance to compete for the prestigious title.

Radebe co-pastors God Sanctuary Ministries churches alongside her husband, Seth Radebe, and is an entrepreneur who is qualified in events management and works as an image consultant. She also ran and acted as the managing director for the 2013 Emerging Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year competition, which gave more emerging entrepreneurs access to business training.

“I am a very creative, hardworking woman who is passionate about assisting people to achieve their conviction of excellence in my area of expertise,” Radebe said.

She pioneers various initiatives of her own, ranging from providing school uniforms and shoes to schoolchildren in rural areas, donating mattresses and furniture to kindergartens and helping the elderly through ministry work.

She also assists the youth with building their self-esteem by conducting workshops.

“I am dedicated to fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Looking my best is my top priority in order for me to advance with an intention to motivate and mentor people looking to improve their lifestyles, self-esteem and overall image,” she said.

Radebe added that she was grateful to be shortlisted as one of the semi-finalists.

Only 25 women will be selected as finalists for Mrs South Africa. They will be announced at the annual Cansa gala dinner on 28 April at Emperors Palace.
