A gathering of likeminded people

The event was themed as the masked carnival ball and everyone came dressed for the occasion. “Ladies had the opportunity to dress up in funny masks and take memorable photos in photo booths around the shop in between networking for business opportunities,” said Lesley-Ann Oates, public relations officer for Hirsch’s Fourways.

Hosting the event was Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa’s entrepreneur business woman of the year, Margaret Hirsch, who gave a presentation about the organisation, the work that they do and the ways in which women are empowered .
Guest speaker John Beyers McDermott spoke about the importance of good manners, sportsmanship, patience, honesty, integrity and truly caring about others.
