The search on 16 January, went smoothly as they made sure of youths’ safety.

Only one knife was found in a boy’s possession and a case of possession of a dangerous weapon has been opened against the young male from Diepsloot Combined School, commented Constable Moyahabo Jenny Morata, spokesperson for Diepsloot Police Station.

“The case is under investigation and further information will be released when possible,” advised Morata.
