Research by Analytico, which provides earnings analysis statistics, highlights the importance of education and completing one’s studies. Analytico has found that without a matric certificate, the average monthly income is R2 660. With a matric certificate, the average monthly income can average R4 977 or more, whereas tertiary education can earn one R8 000 or more monthly.
