Explorers group brings in the big guns
BRYANSTON — They are hosting a clued-up motivational speaker this week.
Explorers Interest and Friendship Group is a non-profit organisation founded in April 2015 that focuses on building the community. The group gathers on the third Friday of each month for motivational talks.
“This month, on 27 January, we are hosting David Graham, a motivational speaker who will give us a kick-start into 2017,” said Shelley Addis, coordinator of the chat group.
The group has, in the past, invited the South African Depression and Anxiety Group and Doctors without Borders to its meetings. “What I find most rewarding is seeing friendships blossom,” said Addis.

Next month, at a meeting to which a physical injuries instructor and a nutritionist have been invited, the topic will be the importance of good nutrition and exercise in maintaining a healthy mind and body.
