Leeuwkop Golf Club invites all

Leeuwkop Golf Club is in the process of renovating its clubhouse and is encouraging the community to make use of this fresh, new space.

“We invite the community as a whole to join and use this facility,” said Des Boehm, the general manager of the club.

“The idea was born about one-and-a-half years ago, but we finally decided that it was time.” He added that local resident and business owner, Grant Walker, sponsored the renovations.

“Members are very excited because the view and the menu will be improved along with the rest of the renovations. We hope that it will increase our sense of community here at Leeuwkop.”

According to him, the unique selling point of the golf club is that it has affordable golf fees and conference facilities. Boehm added that the club offers a relaxed family and social atmosphere, even for non-golfers.
