BRYANSTON – A trail runner from Bryanston has placed second in the final event of the Spur Summer Trail Series.
A trail runner from Bryanston placed second in the final of the Spur Summer Trail Series at Leeuwenkloof in Broederstroom.
Luke Schlebush a student of Varsity College Sandton ran in a time of 00:39:42, and uses trail runs specifically to train for his long distance events. The event which sees athletes take on steep mountain climbs offered both a short and long course of 8.8km and 13.9km.
Schlebush completed all four events in the series.
