Douglasdale police are looking for three suspects in connection with a house robbery that took place on 9 August at 2.30am at a house in Nietgedacht, Douglasdale.
According to the head of communications at Douglasdale Police Station, Captain Mpho Kgaosane, it is alleged that the victim was sleeping and was awakened by three unknown men.

“Two of them were armed with small handguns and demanded cash and cellphones from her. They then took jewellery, a television, a laptop and a sound system, before leaving the house,” Kgaosane said. No shots were fired and after the suspects left, the victim realised that her kitchen door had been forced open.
“Two of the suspects were described to be between the ages of 25 and 30, both were slender, wearing beanies and both were armed and spoke English. One suspect is reported to be light in complexion, wearing tracksuit pants, while the other, dark in complexion, was wearing a dark tracksuit top,” she said.

Kgaosane urged that if a community member has information regarding these suspects, they should contact, Detective Constable Mthembu on 0728223662 or the station on 011 699 1333.
