Unity College celebrates Heritage Day

CHARTWELL – Unity College pupils showed off their creativity when they wore traditional costumes in honour of this year's Heritage Day.

AFRICAN: While there were costumes from all over the world, there were also quite a few with an African theme.

Unity College pupils took advantage of Heritage Day by celebrating each person’s unique culture and the diversity of their beliefs and traditions.

Every pupil came to school on 23 September dressed in a traditional outfit from the country their family originated from.

SCOTTISH: Stephanie Pringle celebrates her Scottish roots with an outfit featuring a tartan kilt the country is known for.
