Deck Society

The Gavin Project Gallery and Funky Mad Hatter Joint have teamed up to present an important exhibition that’s sure to get the public thinking, called Deck Society, in support of the skateboarding school currently under construction, Skateistan. The exhibition takes place until 3 July and this weekend all who attend are encouraged to draw pictures depicting their various experiences in an effort to create a dialogue between people of different ages.

Deep in the Sky

Deep In the Sky, a name that has become famous for being the biggest rooftop session in Joburg is back. Join the takeover of Randlords once again for a night of quality music for the discerning listener, featuring DJs Vimo, Rikay and August O, among others. Don’t miss out on the heart-pumping house music on 25 June.

Hear Yee! Recording Studios 5th Birthday

Join in on some musical fun at Good Luck Bar on 25 June. This party is for a good cause because the money raised will be used to fund cochlear implants and to buy hearing aids, giving children the gift of hearing. This event is supporting Hi Hopes, a programme run by Wits University dedicated to helping deaf and hard-of-hearing children grow and learn in a world where they cannot hear.
