Crawford Preparatory School Fourways congratulated Grade 4 pupil, Yash Singh and Grade 3 pupil Hloma Mdabe.
This is after the two and their team, Africa Tsunami, achieved first place in their category at a dance competition, Dance Star World Finals 2016, in Croatia.
“We are so proud of their achievements and we were fortunate to have had them perform at a recent assembly. Their energy, enthusiasm and love of hip-hop were evident in their performance,” the school’s principal, Ian Rothman said.
Mdabe also achieved third place in his solo performance at the competition.
