Jub Jub’s stabbing reports false
LEEUWKOP - Reports that Jub Jub was stabbed at Leeuwkop Prison are 'baseless and unfounded'.
Contrary to reports that Molemo Maarohanye, also known as Jub Jub, has been stabbed while in a fight at Leeuwkop Prison, Fourways Review has established from prison management that the rumours are untrue.
According to the communication manager of Department of Correctional Services – Leeuwkop Prison, Sanku Tsunke, it was not the first time that he heard the rumour that the award-winning rapper had been stabbed.
“The rumour started sometime last week when a publication reported Maarohanye’s stabbing. When I rushed to check if he was stabbed, I found that he was sleeping peacefully in his cell,” Tsunke said.
He added that the rumours were baseless and unfounded and that Maarohanye is doing quite fine.
