MAGALIESSIG – Mystic India’s audience takes a first-class flight to India.

The internationally acclaimed Bollywood music and dance spectacular, Mystic India, based on the concept of ancient India’s transition to modern India, wowed the Teatro’s audience in Montecasino on 26 April.

With 22 talented musicians, skilled dancers, mind-boggling aerialists and acrobats, and 750 costume changes, the show kept the audience on the edge of their seats.

The colourful costumes and extravagant sets were custom-designed in India’s film capital by a team of 40 creative designers and collaborators over the course of the past four years.

The production intertwines a mesmerising combo where traditional India meets the urban streets of Mumbai and New York. It is hip and trendy with all the glitter and bling to make it an all-out sensory sensation.

The female lead of the show, Kruti Shah, is an internationally distinguished dancer and choreographer who has shot to fame as a top-10 finalist on the dance reality show, Just Dance; and the narrator, Sanjay Sahini, originates from Delhi, India.

The directing and choreography of the show are done by renowned choreographer and production master, Amit Shah, and produced by US-based AATMA Performing Arts, of which he is the founder and creative director.

Amit is known for his critical eye and creative disposition and has many years of experience in the world of dance, theatre and media. Amit has worked on Bollywood film sets with top actors and his choreography has been featured onstage with Miss World, Priyanka Chopra.
