It seems dancing runs in the family for sisters Tumelo and Katlego Sekgota, who both have excelled in dance.
The pair were both chosen to represent South Africa at an international dance championship in July last year, while Tumelo, a Unity College pupil, has taken classes at the Kim Field Dancing Academy for two years and has competed in a number of other dance competitions.
“We are extremely proud of her,” said the spokesperson for Unity College, Michelle Kirk.
Tumelo explained that she hoped to take her dancing to another level and compete in other countries. “I love dancing, I feel the music and it excites me. I feel free and happy when I dance,” Tumelo said.
