FOURWAYS - A pedestrian and passenger of a motorbike were killed in a collision on the N1 North, just after the William Nicol Drive offramp on the evening of 16 April.

EMER-G-MED paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian, motorcyclist and motorcyclist’s passenger lying on the fast lane of the highway.

According the EMER-G-MED’s Facebook page, the driver of the motorcycle had sustained critical injuries and was stabilised on scene before being rushed to a specialist trauma hospital for surgical management. The motorcycle passenger and pedestrian were declared dead on scene.

EMER-G-MED said the specialist accident investigation unit of Metro police also attended the scene to investigate the accident.
