Friends of Norscot host open day and Easter egg hunt

NORSCOT – Friends of Norscot hosted an open day and Easter egg hunt at Norscot Manor Recreation Centre.

The day kicked off with the Easter egg hunt, which proved to be a huge hit with the children, and attendees were entertained by live music and a sweet and treat den.

Seen as an integral part of the community, the recreation centre offers a range of classes to cater for every interest. According to the manager of the centre, Lydia Jacobs, the facility has more than 30 classes on offer, ranging from a variety of recreational activities, courses, workshops and adult and children activities.

From pilates to ballet, Irish and highland dancers, Tai Chi, Latin and ballroom dancing, domestic training (basic cooking and baking) and dressmaking, are some of the activities on offer.
