According to the video synopsis, as posted by Intelligence Bureau, the victim had been followed to the estate from OR Tambo International Airport.
The video shows that the victim was held at gunpoint as he was trying to enter the estate.
The suspects reportedly took everything from the victim’s car, including his car keys.
According to Chairperson of the Douglasdale Community Policing Forum, Jean Berdou, the victim was followed from the OR Tambo International Airport, after boarding an Uber taxi.
The victim was then boxed in at the entrance of his estate, and robbed of his belongings at gun point.
No shots were fired and nobody was injured.
Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, head of communications for the Douglasdale police confirmed that the incident took place and that police were investigating.
