Beaulieu College top achievers excel

BEAULIEU – Beaulieu College matric pupils excelled, once again, to continue their 100 percent matric pass rate for the 15th consecutive year.

Pupil Andrew Musk, top achiever of the matrics, obtained nine distinctions and was within the top one percent of candidates per subject in advanced programme mathematics, mathematics and physical science.

Musk explained that his outstanding results came down to hard work and putting in the hours because there were no shortcuts.

The dedicated pupil will leave the country to study computer science and physics in America.

Shayna Smit, head girl during her matric year, obtained eight distinctions and was among the top one percent of candidates per subject in business studies.

Claire van Son, another pupil of Beaulieu College, obtained seven distinctions and was among the top one percent of candidates per subject in English.

Beaulieu College’s academic head, Mark Naidoo said, “The school’s academic success is down to accountable leadership, consistency, students’ self-motivation to achieve and continuous parental involvement.”
