Bryanston Library reflects on the past year
BRYANSTON – The Friends of the Bryanston Library (Fobl) are smiling with delight.
As the year draws to a close, Fobl is reflecting on the amazing response of everyone to the book sales, book donation requests and attendance at the Children’s Story Telling Time.
Fobl said, “A wonderful year! Thank you!”
They also said the project of collecting donated children’s books for nursery schools and creches was a great success and the books were delivered to Bibliography Services in Solomon Street for distribution.
“This is ongoing and we would really appreciate your continued support and deliver books to the Bryanston Library,” said Fobl.
In November, the book sale is on the morning of 28 November and the Children’s Story Telling Time is at a new time slot from 11am to 11.30am.
December will also be a magical month for the children as, on 2 December at 2.30pm, FOBL will hold The Children’s Puppet Show. There is no cost but booking is required.
