Riverside Manor Retirement Village makes a fashion statement
SUNNINGHILL – Diana Dunn, owner of D n D Exclusive Fashions, recently showcased her latest collection of immaculately designed and easy-to-wear garments at the Riverside Manor Retirement Village fashion parade.
Organiser of the parade and resident, Norma Rocket, said the fashion parade was an annual highlight in the village’s event calendar, attracting more than 90 fashion-forward residents.
“The models that we use are residents of the village,” she said.
Attendees enjoyed a relaxed day with friends and family while designing their next outfits with Dunn.
Dunn ended the fashion parade with a R300 voucher prize draw which was won by resident, Jean Colley. Dunn, who imports garments from Bangkok, Thailand, said she only sold to adults over the age of 50 and most clothes were wash and wear.
