The cook-off will have five teams who will cook on a Weber gas braai while five teams will cook on five SMEG stoves, forming a braai vs fry competition.
A Whirlpool and Kenwood station will also be set up for pupils to microwave, blend and mix in order to win the cook-off .
Among the judges will be celebrity chef Tommy Dickson, also known as Vaatjie from the hit television show Toks ‘n Tjops.
Entertainment will be provided by laughter coach, John-Peter Gernaat.
The branch hosted their first cook-off with the college last year with close to 200 people attending the event and over 70 matriculants participating.
