Tsogo Sun Arts Academy students perform in Diepsloot
DIEPSLOOT - Diepsloot residents were entertained by a special performance at Diepsloot Methodist Church by Tsogo Sun Arts Academy in commemoration of Heritage Day.
The showcase featured young academy students showing off their various talents to the audience in different performances including arts, drama, music and poetry.
Celebrity guest and Dainfern resident, Tumisho Masha, expressed that it was heartwarming to see such a wonderful initiative for children close to where he lived. He added that it was very encouraging to see the children being kept busy with training after school, and said he intended to offer his know-how to the children.
“These children should be told that they can be anything they put their minds to, they should dream big and, as Fourways residents, we need to give back, however we can, to the future of tomorrow,” Masha said.
The academy’s aim is to make a difference in the children’s lives by developing artistic talent and providing life skills development to pupils.
