Detectives search for robbery suspects

MAGALIESSIG - Detectives are on the hunt for two suspects who reportedly robbed a man in Magaliessig on 9 September.

According to @MagaliessigInfo the robbery took place on Quail Street.

The suspects fled the scene in a grey metallic Toyota sedan, which had a smashed driver’s side window.

Colonel Happy Xaba of the Douglasdale police confirmed that the incident took place and said detectives were out looking for the suspects.

Xaba said the suspects had stolen the victim’s laptop after remote jamming his motor-vehicle.

Xaba has since urged residents to always double check that their cars are locked.
