WATCH: Vehicle slams into taxi on William Nicol
FOURWAYS - A video of a collision between a car and a taxi on William Nicol Drive on 5 September has emerged.
UPDATE 9 September; 07.07 am
The video shows a sedan travelling up William Nicol Drive towards Diepsloot.
A taxi is seen to be travelling in the opposite lane towards Fourways.
The sedan seems to skid on the road, which was wet from rain, and slams into the taxi as it was pulling off onto the side of the road.

An adult and a child died in a collision between a car and a taxi on William Nicol Drive on the morning of 5 September.
According to ER24, 16 others sustained moderate to critical injuries.
When emergency services arrived on scene they found several people scattered on the road. Some patients were entrapped in the vehicles.

Paramedics were unable to do anything for the child and adult.
Fire and Rescue Services extricated patients who were trapped. Patients were treated and transported to various hospitals.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown however local authorities were on scene to investigate.
