Bryanston High School athletic team wins torch
BRYANSTON - The Bryanston High School athletic team made their school proud on 26 August by winning the annual torch trophy.
The team took a 44-point lead over all of the other teams with marketing co-ordinator of the school, Lauren Streng adding, “It is exciting to see such phenomenal performances from this next generation of athletes, and right at a time when our national athletes are taking centre stage at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing.
“Congratulations to all of the coaches at Bryanston High School who supported, encouraged and pushed the Bryanston athletes to achieve this success. An outstanding achievement to all.”
