Securing the Douglasdale Police Station

DOUGLASDALE – The Douglasdale Police Station recently received a much-needed facelift from SheerGuard, a local security company based in Fourways.

The company did their part for Mandela Day by installing clear burglar bars to the value of R6 700 at the Douglasdale Police Station.

Douglasdale Police Station commander Brigadier Lettie Hugo thanked SheerGuard for their support, adding that the police always rely on partnerships with the community.

Ricky Walton, owner of SheerGuard said, “Being a prominent security company in Fourways and Gauteng, we at SheerGuard, are constantly looking out for opportunities to assist our community.

“We understand the immense pressure our police force is under, both on resources and finances, so to commemorate 67 minutes for Mandela on 18 July, we offered to secure the windows of the new offices at the Douglasdale Police Station with SheerGuard PG clear burglar bars to the value of R 6 700,” said Walton.

Walton added that SheerGuard PG offered a high grade of protection without giving that ‘jailed in’ feeling that regular burglar bars do, and also allowed 100 percent light transfer into the work area due to its perfect optical clarity.
