TICKET GIVEAWAY: An extravaganza for the kids

From 4 to 9 July Vodacom World will transform into a kiddies dream world, with all their favourite characters from the popular kiddies channel, CBeebies, coming to life to bring them some live entertainment at the DStv Kids’ Xtravaganza.

For this week only, the colourful friends from Teletubbies will join with the beloved presenter of I Can Cook and bring the popular TV shows to life, just to bring a smile to the faces of the little ones over the school holidays.

Katy Ashworth, the host of I Can Cook, is thrilled with the challenge to get youngsters in the kitchen and cooking up a storm.

“This is exactly what I’ve wanted to do since I was a little girl, making homemade TV programmes in my loft,” said Ashworth.

“To be given the opportunity to present such a brilliant show that embodies everything I love – food, children and music – was just amazing. I am so proud to be the face of a show that’s sending out such a great message and I thank my lucky stars every day!”

Everyday, the kids will be able to view three one-hour stage shows, each of which are followed by a 90-minute play session in the Fun Zone.

The Fun Zone will allow the kids to engage in a number of activities from face painting to gaming at one of many game stations.

This show does not only allow parents to keep their kids occupied for a short time during the holiday, but also encourages them to get involved in the fun and spend time with their young one’s too.
