It’s reported that World Social Media Day was launched by the website, Mashable, in 2010. While some people think that social media is the root of all evil, many would agree that it is a fast, effective way to get information, keep in contact with old friends, and to organise international and local events.

There are a ton of social media platforms to choose from, each with its own unique way of sharing your personal information with the world.
