According to Warrant Officer Balan Muthan of the Douglasdale Police Station, the 63-year-old man and his wife are going through a divorce. He went to his wife’s home where she was with his stepson.

Muthan said the man then left and returned again on the same day with a gun. He then proceeded to shoot at the woman twice, missing her. Muthan said a scuffle then broke out between the stepson and the man after the shots were fired.
“The stepson was shot in the leg during the scuffle. The man has been arrested and the stepson is recovering well in Milpark Hospital,” said Muthan.
