Beaulieu Prep pupils receive scholarships

BEAULIEU - GRADE 7 pupils from Beaulieu Preparatory School recently received scholarships to attend different high schools.

The school’s headmistress, Noele Hillen said, “We are proud of the pupils who have won scholarships. Each year, the scholarship process for independent schools commences in March, the year prior to a Grade 7 pupil beginning high school.”

Hillen explained that scholarships are announced by respective high schools who run scholarship programmes each year in May, and this falls in line with the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa.

Rouke Page was awarded a sports scholarship to Beaulieu College; Roland Noffke received the Headmaster’s Discretionary Sports Scholarship to St John’s College; and Kabelo Mokanjane was awarded a full scholarship to attend St John’s College. Jared Bruggink was awarded the Closed Academic Scholarship to Beaulieu College and Paige Gower was awarded the Exhibition Scholarship to Beauleiu College.
