Come knit at the Outdoor Show at Waterfall Estate Polo Field

WATERFALL - THE charity initiative, 67 blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, will be at the Outdoor Show at Waterfall Estate Polo Field, Kyalami this weekend.

Zonderwater prisoners and 67 Blankets staff with blankets from the charity initiative.

The events will take place on 29 May from 10am to 5pm, 30 May 9am to 5pm and on 31 May from 9am to 4pm. Caroline Steyn from 67 Blankets said, “Residents are invited to come and join us and knit blankets to keep South Africans warm this winter.” Crochet hooks, needles and wool will be available as well as experts who can teach those who do not yet know how to knit or crochet.
