Douglasdale Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, stated that a sector vehicle noticed a suspicious looking car driving around aimlessly in the parking lot of a shopping centre.

“They were pulled over by our members who then searched the vehicle and found the firearm and ammunition,” Muthan said. “Further investigation also revealed the vehicle was reported stolen from Norwood recently.”
The suspects will be appearing in Randburg Magistrates’ Court soon.
