Shamla Moodley of Anchor Yeast said the objective of the donation was to empower children with knowledge from an early stage.
The handover ceremony of the books was attended by pupils, parents, community members and officials from the company.
Principal Martha Tolane said she was grateful for the books and the school buildings which had previously been constructed by Anchor Yeast.
