JOHANNESBURG – Believe it or not, only one day a year is set aside to celebrate the women who bought life into this world. So with Mother’s Day around the corner on 10 May, here’s a line-up of the fun things to do on the day.

Break a sweat at the Adrienne Hersch Challenge by running a 21.1km, 10km or 5km race. There will even be a smaller Nappy Dash for children under four and loads of healthy snacks on sale throughout the day. It’s held on 10 May at The Randburg Sports Complex. Tickets are from R30.
