Dainfern pupils paint the college red

DAINFERN - Three exceptional Grade 10 Dainfern College pupils received their red blazers.

At the college, the red blazer is the highest honour that a pupil can be awarded. It celebrates the achievements of pupils who excel in academics, sport, cultural arts, service and leadership. To receive a red blazer, a pupil must have achieved a minimum of full colours in any three of these areas.

These pupils are genuine all-rounders at the highest level rather than a specialist in one field.

Pupil Kate Forbes received full colours and her blazer for academics, dance and service, Melanie Lesch received full colours and her blazer for academics, athletics, cross country and performing arts, and Nicholas van der Meulen received full colours and his blazer for academics, fly fishing and service.
