Two dead after collision on William Nicol Drive
FOURWAYS - Two people have been killed and three others injured after two vehicles collided on William Nicol Drive by the N1 intersection.

ER24 paramedics from Johannesburg North arrived on scene on 2 March and found the two wrecked vehicles lying in the middle of the intersection.

“On assessment, paramedics found that two male passengers in the back of the light motor vehicle had already succumbed to their fatal injuries,” ER24 said in a press statement.

Three other male patients in the light motor vehicle were found to have sustained critical injuries. Two of the injuried were found trapped in the front of the vehicle.

ER24 said rescue services had to use the jaws-of-life equipment to free the two trapped patients. “Once freed, paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to various hospitals for further treatment.”
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
