Showjumper takes on music

JOBURG - Showjumper Cara Frew from Sandton has taken her music career further in the new year.

Known in Kyalami equestrian circles, Frew said even though showjumping would take a back seat for a while, she is looking forward to picking up the pace of her show-stopping music career.

“My year has started off very well,” said Frew. “I am working on a track with Ryan Murgatroyd, who is part of Crazy White Boy, and I am working on a track with PhFat as well as some original material.”

Frew (22) released her debut album titled Frozen last year. She entered the public music scene when she took part in Idols SA.

She was recently in the Seychelles for a performance and is expected to perform at Hard Rock Café in Sandton soon. She will also be in Cape Town finishing studio work before flying to Europe, Spain, in February for a showjumping tour until March, before coming back to South Africa.
