Vehicle pile up on the Witkoppen bridge

According to Emer-G-Med whose paramedics were on scene, the first incident was an overturned vehicle on the Witkoppen bridge, heading towards Montecasino.

Another vehicle then knocked into the overturned vehicle.

Emer-G-Med said that two people were injured in the multiple vehicle accident and have been transported to hospital.

One of the people involved was treated on-scene for a serious back injury.
