According to reports Palmarozza’s body was found with multiple bruises in the pool of a five-star luxury resort in Mauritius. Palmarozza’s boyfriend, a wealthy businessman from Hyde Park, discovered Palmarozza’s lifeless body and has been questioned by Mauritius authorities.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation will be assisting the family in bringing the body home while the South African government will assist the Mauritian authorities with the investigation into Palmarozza’s death.
According to reports, spokesperson for the Department of International Relations and Cooperation Nelson Kgwete said, “The entire legal procedure is being handled by Mauritian authorities and we will take the lead from them. All we are interested in is to ensure that justice is done and if there is any foul play we will see the perpetrators being held accountable.”
