Ward Councillor promises to tackle infrastructure and transportation issues

FOURWAYS - Ward 93 councillor Annette Deppe welcomed residents back into the New Year by giving her annual greetings.

“May this year bring happiness and joy to all the residents in Ward 93,” said Deppe. According to Deppe, schools will be a high priority for her this year, and churches will be looked at and highlighted for all the good work they are doing in the ward.

She emphasised that public transport will be under scrutiny and monitored. This includes taxi’s, buses and Gautrain buses. Moreover, Deppe promised she would tackle the problems caused by areas where commuters stand for hours every day waiting for transport, as well as road infrastructure and environmental issues.

“One of the most important projects this year for me will be Project Jericho, which helps our community come together and get to know each other,” said Deppe.

Deppe asked if residents have great ideas and dreams they would like to achieve in Ward 93 they should submit them for discussion at the ward committee level. “Let’s work together to make our ward the best ward in this constituency,” she added.
