In the eblockwatch video, a white Subaru pulls up behind a black Porsche SUV and two suspects exit the vehicle. One of the suspects attempts to gain entry into the driver’s side of the Porsche but the Porsche speeds away and mounts a curb to get away from the suspects. The two suspects run back to the white Subaru as the driver of the getaway vehicle starts to reverse.
According to Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, head of communications for Douglasdale police, the registration of the vehicle was CY43YZGP, however, police later discovered that this was a fake registration number. Muthan said the suspects were all aged between 20 and 25. After the white Subaru fled from the school the suspects ran down Main Road towards Kyalami.
The vehicle was recovered on 4 December
