State drops charges against road rager

FOURWAYS - Gregory Kleinhentz, the Porsche passenger who assaulted a motorist in July this year, will not be charged with assault.

The state dropped all charges against Kleinhentz on 26 November in the Randburg Magistrates’ Court because he settled with the victim out of court for an undisclosed amount.

In July this year a video of Kleinhentz intimidating another motorist on Witkoppen Road went viral, raising questions about the high incidence of road rage in Joburg North.

Kleinhentz, who was a passenger in his friend’s Porsche when the incident happened, intimidated and assaulted the other motorist after he hooted at Kleinhentz for throwing something out of the window.
