School will counsel victims of attempted hijacking

LONEHILL - Crawford Preparatory Lonehill will provide counselling after an attempted hijacking outside the school.

On the morning of 26 November, four male suspects attempted to hijack a parent outside the school and also held up two security guards at gunpoint. The suspects failed to hijack the parent’s vehicle and fled up Main Road towards Kyalami in a white Subaru.

Crawford Lonehill has confirmed that the incident did take place. Douglas Andrews, deputy principal and counselor at the school said the school staff, security and Douglasdale police dealt with the situation in a very professional manner. He mentioned that the school will provide counselling to all the parties concerned.
