Concert relocates to new venue
FOURWAYS - Space Ibiza will now be held at The Sands in Sandton on 29 November.
Following the story Residents oppose rave where some residents’ associations disapproved the rave concert at the Diepsloot Skills Hub, this event planners were forced to move the musical festival to a new venue. According to Darryn Lee, the event promoter, Space Ibiza fans have nothing to worry about. The epic rave festival will continue bringing local and international djs to the electronic music front here in South Africa. The festival which is going to be held in one of Sandton’s most elite clubs is set to be one of the best rave festivals yet.
With its official tour, Space Ibiza’s intention is to transport its party-goers to a whole new atmosphere of the White Island. Expect top performances, world-class production and lighting in an incredible venue, infused with the genuine feel of its Space Ibiza origins, said Lee.
The lineup so far consists of Yves V from Belgium, WolfPack (Netherlands), Congorock (Italy), Felix Cartal (Canada), Gelab (Spain), Danny Marquez (Spain), New_ID (Netherlands), Glowinthedark (Netherlands) and Prok & Fitch (UK).
Celebrated by more than 10 000 people when it launched this past July, the Space Ibiza 25 Anniversary World Tour is an unprecedented electronic music event that will be hosted in extraordinary places around the world like Moscow, Jakarta, Dubai and Johannesburg.
