Sing-along this Christmas
NORSCOT - The Friends of Norscot Committee are inviting the Norscot community to a night of Carols by Candlelight.
The event is one of the many future events planned by the committee.
This Carols by Candlelight evening is the first of the many events planned. The carols will kick off at 5.30pm on 29 November. The committee invites the community to come with their favourite picnic snacks and blankets. There will be refreshments sold at The Secret Garden Café. Toys, clothing and any canned food are welcomed and will be donated to charity. The Friends of Norscot Manor was formed following a community meeting held in September last year, regarding the future of Norscot Manor. Their efforts have been tireless towards securing Norscot Manor on the map as an invaluable heritage site and recreational facility which provides for the Fourways community and surrounds. Since their first meeting, the Friends have registered as a non-profit organisation. The organisation has applied for a Blue Plaque as well to register Norscot Manor as a heritage site.
They continue working towards raising awareness and funds in the interest of maintaining and preserving Norscot Manor.
