Bryanston Grade 8 pupils give back

BRYANSTON - The Grade 8 pupils of Bryanston High School gave back to the community by collecting and supplying stationery to the Alpha Day Care Centre on 19 September.

Spokesperson for Bryanston High school Liz Edwards said the donation was in conjunction with the Grade 8 pupils “Giving back” initiative which is a life orientation project led by junior ambassador Fatima Khan.

A large amount of stationery was collected including pens, paper, colouring-in books, calculators and paint through kind donations from parents and foundations such as The Gift of the Givers.

Edwards said, “A huge thank you must also go to The Gift of the Givers foundation and Capmore Stationers who came on board and donated very generously to the cause.”

The stationery was delivered to Alpha Day Care Centre in Diepsloot on 19 September and the Bryanston High School pupils interacted and played with the young children.
