BMW hijacked, bodies burnt
LONEHILL - A BMW was hijacked in Lonehill on 2 August and was found in the North West province on 3 August with two bodies, burnt beyond recognition, inside the vehicle.

Gauteng Provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that two people were in a BMW vehicle when it was hijacked in Lonehill.
North West Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said the hijacked vehicle was discovered by authorities in Hartebeespoort on 3 August. It was abandoned and two bodies were found inside. “They were burnt beyond recognition,” said Mokgwabone.
He said the bodies were in the back seat of the vehicle in a seated position.
Mokgwabone said a case of murder had been opened in Hartebeespoort and no arrests had been made but the investigations were ongoing.
