Mystery housebreaking in Glenferness

GLENFERNESS - Suspects made off with two vehicles after a housebreaking in Chattan Road, Glenferness.

According to Constable Matome Tlamela, head of communications for the Midrand police, the homeowner alleged that he left his home at 11:30am with all the windows and doors properly closed and locked. He returned at 1:30pm on the same day to find that his gate was wide open.

The homeowner drove onto his property and realised that his main door had been forced open. When he went inside his house he found that his TV, iPhone, jewellery, clothes and golf clubs were missing.

He proceeded to the garage where he found that his two cars, a white Toyota Fortuner and a white MG6, were missing – inexplicably, the garage door was locked.
