Runners beware of creepy bakkie driver

Patricia Vos of Lonehill writes:

I start my run in Lonehill at 5:30am.

The other day, I [was] followed by a white double cab Hilux bakkie in Concourse Crescent.

A white male was driving and a black male was sitting behind him in the back.

They parked the bakkie twice on different sides of the road making U-turns twice to park on whichever side I was running. I changed sides of the road and was lucky each time to see another person or car in the distance. They both stared at me as I was looking at them.

I got to a security guard and pointed out the bakkie. Just at that moment, they started the car again turning around again towards my direction. The driver must not have noticed me by the guard’s car window.

As the guard approached the bakkie the driver slowly swung around and sped away. The guard later told me he [gave] chase but the bakkie fled into Main Road.

Please can other runners… watch out for this bakkie whilst early morning running or walking.
